• KEELEY is 32 months old. She is a real caretaker when it comes to Kaelin and Aidan.  For example, every morning at school Keeley supervises the teachers getting Kaelin ready for breakfast before Keeley heads to Group 2.  This morning after getting a plate of pancakes ready and selecting a sippy cup (purple of course--not Kaelin's favorite color...rather Keeley's) for Kaelin she said, "Kaelin, come sit down and eat your breakfast.  I''m gonna count to three Kaelin...one...two...three!  Kaelin...I'm not gonna chase you around.  You need to come and eat your food!"  Hmmm...wonder where she gets this from?  We had a wonderful time at Disneyland in Anaheim, CA last week where she met her storybook princess Cinderella.  As you can see in the pics, she caught Cinderella by surprise and gave her a giant hug at she was making her way to the front of the line.  She is so inquisitive and asks questions about EVERYTHING...Before asking a question she says..."Can I ask you a question Mommy/Daddy" then goes on to ask “Why are you doing that? What is that? How come this does that? Where are you going?" When we ask her why she’s doing something her favorite reply is, “That’s why”  When we’re in the car she asks, “Are we almost there yet?” When she's talking to Kaelin and Kaelin doesn't listen, Keeley states "Kaelin, can you please listen to my words."  Keeley has figured out how to unlock/undo all of the childproof locks we have...and she's using her stool to get into everything to try to do everything Mommy and Daddy do.  The list of songs she loves to sing is growing, we'll try to put a video clip up soon!  Out of the blue she will often say "I love you to the back of the moon" (because Nana says "I love you to the moon and back").
• KAELIN is 17 months old. She is enjoying being a middle child (or so we like to think!)--taking care of Aidan (she and Keeley fight about who is going to help change Aidan's diaper and put blankets on him.  Kaelin loves following Keeley around, they often play follow the leader.  She loves playing dress up and playing cook in her kitchen.  She says her favorite color is "lelo" (a.k.a. yellow).  She's beginning to say more words, but her favorites are still "Daddy" (no surprise there!) and "no."  She loves music and especially loves dancing and being swung around (she loves getting dizzy and also sitting in the office chair and getting spun around and around...MORE! she yells when the chair stops.).  She loves sitting at the computer and looking at this website and remembering when her Nana and Papa and Grandma and Grandpa visited.  Kaelin is the most lovable little girl you could imagine, it's great to hug and snuggle with her.  We love her crazy hair (we haven't even trimmed it yet!). Even though Keeley is a few inches taller than her, they are wearing the same size clothes already.
• AIDAN is 12 weeks old. He is laughing all the time and he loves to “talk” and make funny sounds (sometimes non stop for 15 minutes). He loves being sung to and lying on his belly on someone’s chest (especially Daddy’s). He’s sleeping in 5 hour chunks through the night. He loves to “drink” and is almost 18 lbs already (he’s in 9-12 month baby clothes!) He loves his sisters and still follows their voices around the room. He is still working on his mini-pushups when placed on his belly and we think he's getting close to rolling over.   He's grabbing at toys and has a really strong grip.  Aidan’s most favorite thing to do is “stand.” He likes being pulled up and keeping his legs straight. He’s so strong right now. His great demeanor hasn't changed.  He began "school" :-( a two weeks ago and all of the teachers comment that they have never had a better baby.  Aidan and Kaelin are in the same group at school and she is very protective of him.  If other infants try to go near him, she says "mine!".
