Yeah, we know...we know...we haven't had a chance to update the site in a couple of weeks.  We just posted some photos from mid-December and holiday pictures will be posted in a week or two.  Click "archive" above for latest updates...not much time to elaborate with this update.  We've been so busy these past few weeks (we know we always say that...but it's been even crazier than ever!) we're having a hard time catching our breath each day. 

Besides all of us getting sick a couple of times in the last month, Keeley had her first and we hope last trip to the emergency room last night.  She was hopping off of the bed (excited to help change Aidan's diaper) when her foot got caught in a pair of jeans and her chin broke her fall as her head flew into a metal dresser handle.  She split her chin open, the blood started pouring out, and Daddy rushed her to the emergency room (luckily only 6 blocks away). Mommy met her there as soon as "Uncle" Timmy came over to baby sit Aidan and Kaelin who were sleeping at the time.  Keeley got a few shots to numb her chin then the doctor stitched her up. She was such a trooper and only cried for about 5 minutes after sustaining the injury and also cried, as expected, while the procedure was being done.  Otherwise, we had a good time at the hospital and they got us right in even though the emergency room was turning away patients that night as they were so busy.

We were going to travel to Massachusetts for the Christmas holiday, but cancelled our trip.  We're looking forward to celebrating Aidan's first Christmas (we hope he gets over this horrible cold he's had).

• KEELEY is 35 months old!  Wow....we can't believe she'll be 3 years old next month.  She's a little girl through and through.  She's loves playing with her dolls, playing house, singing, walking to the park and reading books to Kaelin.  She has such an imagination and the stories she tells are really incredible coming from an almost 3 year old.  She also loves hearing us tell her stories about when we were little and when she was little.  She's quite stubborn and still has her terrible two moments on occasion.  Unfortunately, she's spoiled and usually gets her way!  She often gets up early, wakes Kaelin up and the two of them play nicely together before the rest of us wake up. It's really cute (until someone steals someone else's toy and all *&%# breaks loose!).  Joking aside, they are becoming great friends and it's wonderful to watch them care for each other.
• KAELIN is almost 20 months old. Her vocabulary is expanding, but favorites still include LeeLee and Bruthy (Keeley and Brother).  She's such a good little girl and is so inquisitive about everything.  Her new favorite color is blue (it was yellow last month and purple before that!).  She loves dancing and getting swung around until she's very, very dizzy.  This is especially fun right before bedtime in the dark looking at the glow in the dark stars on her bedroom wall!  She loves to draw and color pictures.  She's beginning to learn the alphabet and to sing the words to some of her favorite songs.  For both girls, everything is about being a princess these days.  We should've bought Disney stock a few years ago with all the princess stuff we have.  They like to read books about princesses, dress up as princesses, and play with princess dolls. Kaelin loves "Relly" (Cinderella) followed closely by "Rose" (Briar Rose) and then Snow White.  We are on Princess overload!  Very soon Prince Aidan will become an active part of the daily princess game play and we'll continue to be subject to it for a few more years.  Thanks Walt!
• AIDAN is almost 6 months old.  He's rolling, sitting, standing while holding on to things, bouncing, etc. etc.  I know we keep saying this but he IS the best baby ever!  He barely ever cries, just slight whimpers when he's tired or hungry.  He's beginning to "talk", his favorites are yah, yah, yah, yah, yah, yah (for ever and ever) and da, da, da, da, da, da (on and on....). His sisters make him break out in a big belly laugh all the time. He's also very ticklish on his feet and under his arms.  He started to eat "solids" (a.k.a mushy foods) a couple of weeks ago. Just cereal for now, but he likes it so far.  We'll begin adding some flavor soon.  We haven't weighed him lately, but we're guessing he's a solid 21 or 22 lbs.  He's 12 month clothes fit him very well!  He likes watching football with daddy (and so do the girls).  He also loves his super-fun-ultra-saucer where he can get an upright view of things going on around the room.  No matter where he is, he always manages to grab those things which we think are just beyond his reach.  That includes the computer keyboard as I am typing this right now...

We are having a great time with all three kids.  Three under three....now we are beginning to realize why people said we were crazy!  But, we feel so lucky to have such a great family.  Who would have thought a couple of years ago that we would be able to function on such little sleep??  There's not enough time in the day for all the love we have to share with them!
