Ainsley Marin 10 weeks old!   She's about 14 pounds and getting bigger every day. Sleeping in up to 8 hour stretches on good nights and about 6 other nights. We couldn't be luckier!  She's smiling, giggling, cooing, doing all the things that she should be doing.  She's holding her head steady these days, but doesn't like tummy time too much--she either falls fast asleep as soon as she gets down on the mat or starts to cry.  She loves being in her swing and her watching the craziness of her brother and sisters every day from her bouncy chair.  Her favorite song is Somewhere Over the Rainbow.  Whenever you say "I love you Ainsley" she smiles the biggest grin (even if she's sleeping).

Aidan Kane is 20 months old.  He's a "cool dut" as he would say.  We're amazed at his 3 and 4 word statements - and he's repeating everything.  Very much into sea life these days...he especially loves hammerhead sharks, insisting several times a day to come to the computer to look at pictures of real ones "head a head" is how he pronounces it!  He's no longer interested in his pretend tool box, but rather wants all of Daddy's real tools.  Sometimes while he's playing with other toys, he'll want his hammer and a nail or screwdriver and screw nearby just because. Like a true craftsman, he also gave himself his first, of I'm sure many more to come, blow to his thumb with the hammer.  He wakes up in the morning and no longer asks for some milk but "me hammer, me hammer".  We watched Monsters, Inc. a couple of weeks ago and he absolutely loved it.  "Montor!" he yells as he walks around the house looking in the closets.   His favorite color these days is red.  He has two pairs of red sox and wants to where them every day (hey, Red Sox...he's a fan and he doesn't even know it yet!).  He is so observant of his surroundings and emulates his sisters in so many ways.  Without us even asking, he started to carry his cup and plate from the dinner table and dump them in the sink (which he can just barely reach) after a meal.  He's very helpful at cleanup time but sometimes overzealous with throwing what he thinks is garbage in the trash - we've saved a few items when we've noticed them at the top of the trash and are still looking for others...

Kaelin Avery
is 34 months old.  She loves helping out with Ainsley all the time, singing her songs and trying to get her to "talk".  She likes to sneak out after she's been put to bed to spend some one on one time with Mommy and Daddy while Keeley who no longer takes a nap during the day is fast asleep.  She's really breaking away from Keeley's shadow as her creative play is really fun to watch and listen to.  Her character voices when playing with her dolls are quite funny - some high pitched, some low.  The family room and the play room are on opposites sides of our house - and her chosen mode of transportation is zooming around on the Wiggle car - using it to grab a handful of toys at a time from the play room and deliver them to the family room.  Since she likes to cut paper so much (and tags off clothes!), Mommy bought her some Kumon cutting workbooks so she could be challenged a bit more with all the shapes and lines.

Keeley Shea is 4 years and 1 month old. We're still trying to get her out of her shell at school. She's very shy and slow at opening up to new people. She likes to sit back and check things out thoroughly before joining in.  She's not too crazy about the ballet class she and Kaelin are taking because she just wants to dance right now...doesn't want to spend the time learning all the positions she's suppose to learn!  She still loves gymnastics though and had a great time on Valentine's Day because she was the only one in the class that day and got two teachers special attention!  We just got a new computer recently for the kids and she's already so natural at navigating the system and using the mouse.  Keeley likes to crack jokes and make funny statements like "bop my head off" or "laugh my butt off" and makes up names for things which have no names.  A few weeks ago Daddy taught her one of his oldie but goodies - and she uses it all the time now.  It's the one where she asks someone, "you know what?"...and then they say "what"...and she says "that's what!".  But she got creative and when she doesn't what the joke to be played on her any longer - her answer to the question, "Keeley, you know what?" is giving the thumbs-up sign and exclaiming "Rock Star!".  We have no idea where she got that from...
