KEELEY is 33 months old. She can hold a conversation about just about anything. We can't get away with anything any more because her memory is so great (she'll remember and recall a particular situation from months ago and even last year, when we haven't even spoken to her about it since). Her teacher at school was amazed when Keeley showed her how she could count in three languages (English, Spanish and Cantonese). Her role playing and imagination is unbelievable. She's finally becoming less of a picky eater and is trying more foods (I think she realized that Kaelin was gaining on her when they began to wear the same size clothes). She continues to be a great helper always wanted to assist us with taking care of Aidan. She loves to sing (especially at the dinner table...).
KAELIN is 18 months old. She is beginning to enjoy taking care of her baby "Darlene" more and more. She doesn't want to go anywhere without her. She's so particular about putting on Darlene's blanket on correctly, feeding her, taking her for a walk in the stroller, etc. Kaelin still loves following Keeley around and will try to do anything Keeley does. She tried lobster for the first time last week and really liked it (Daddy brought some home after scuba diving and both Keeley and Kaelin played with them before they had to go into the pot...When Keeley saw the lobster she exclaimed "I'm going to eat you Mr. Lobster".) Kaelin's language skills are really coming along. New favorite words are "LeeLee" (for Keeley) and "brother" for Aidan.
AIDAN is 17 weeks old. He began sitting up on his own last week for short amounts of time. He is also rolling over. He does push-ups during "tummy-time", although he doesn't like to be on his belly for more than 5 or 10 minutes at a time. He follows Keeley and Kaelin with his eyes everywhere they go. All they have to do is come into his sight and he begins laughing hysterically. They can get him to laugh so quickly. Aidan has a great grip and is putting just about everything he grabs on to in his mouth. We think he may be teething already. He absolutely loves his baths. As soon as his feet hit the water he starts to kick and soaks us and the floor around him. He does this thing where he lifts up his butt as far as he can, then lets it drop to cause a big wave in the baby bath. He just had his 4 month doctor's visit and weighed in at 18 lbs. He was 19 lbs. last week, but lost some weight when he caught a cold and wasn't feeling up to drinking very much. We are planning to have his Baptism in Boston next month. Aidan slept through his first 2 earthquakes this weekend (3.0 and 3.1 magnitudes) - both located near Santa Monica.
